Summary Cedric gets more than he planned for with Fleur.
Author's Notes: Yea. This is actually my first fan fic that I've completed dealing with the HP universe. And this probably took me longer than it should to write. Whatevs. I just hope you enjoy it.

He wasn’t enamored with her in the beginning. Maybe it was because he would swear he was in love with Cho. Then she just started to look different, and he wrote it off as the fact that she was part veela.

“Bonjour, Cedric,” she greeted politely as they passed in the Great Hall one morning. That’s when it had to have started.

He noticed things he hadn’t seen before. Her accent was faltering in its thickness. Her eyes sparkled brighter in the morning – she must have been a morning person then. The list of things he noticed was beginning to get numerous when he realized he had not replied.

“Yes, h-hello, Fleur,” he stammered. A soft smile appeared on her face. She enjoyed how boys got flustered when they were around her. “Um…do you think you’re ready for the last task?” Her eyes flickered with hesitation as memories of the blunder of the second task filtered throughout her brain. She began to shake her head no, but she stopped herself.

“Oui,” she replied curtly. Cedric tilted his head with his mouth slightly ajar as he examined her face. She flicked her eyes down to their shoes. He gently nudged the inside of her right foot with the toe of his in order to call her attention back up to him.

“We can talk if you want. You know?” He had seen through her, and it impressed Fleur. He looked past her exterior unlike the other boys who just seemed like mindless trolls when she was around them. She nodded as a small smile curled the sides of her mouth. “Astronomy Tower - tonight?” His voice was barely audible as he spoke.

“Zeven o’clock,” she whispered back before walking past him with swish of her slender ponytail. She had a renewed bounce in her step that Cedric noted. He watched as she disappeared and kept staring long after she was gone.

“Cedric?” He spun around quickly and met Cho’s dark eyes. “What were you talking to Fleur about?” Cedric detected the small hint of jealousy in her voice.

“She just needs to talk to someone,” he replied rubbing his girlfriend’s shoulders. “No need to be jealous,” he added with a soft laugh.

“But I’m not je…” she began to protest, but Cedric placed a chaste kiss on her lips.

“I’ll see you later. I’m going to be late for Herbology.” Cedric turned on his heel and briskly walked down the grounds to the greenhouse. He looked around to see Fleur chatting casually with some of the other Beauxbatons students, and he wasn’t so sure Cho had no reason to be jealous.

Cedric couldn’t remember checking the time as much as he did once he reached the astronomy tower. He wondered if Fleur would even show up at all.

He wondered why he was so excited. They would only be talking. Of course, they would be completely alone which was something new.

He began to fiddle with one of the nearby telescopes to keep his mind somewhat occupied, yet his mind raced over all the reasons why Fleur would most likely not show up. The list was getting lengthy in his mind and very absurd.

“Trying to look at zee stars?”

Cedric turned his head and smiled at Fleur. He was surprised and relieved to see her out of her school uniform. She had on a loose fitting sundress and her hair fell around her shoulders. A knot formed at the back of Cedric’s throat, and he had to resist the urge to adjust his necktie. He felt somewhat childish to still be in his school uniform though he silently thanked himself for leaving his robes in the dormitory.

“J-just keeping myself occupied w-while I was waiting,” he finally responded unwillingly tearing his glance to her face.

He watched a smile slowly creep on to her face which was followed by one of the sweetest sounds he thought he’d ever hear – Fleur’s giggle. It was completely infectious, and he sound found himself laughing softly for no reason.

“What’s so funny?” He felt his body give away and move himself closer to her – a test to see what was a comfortable distance for her.

“You,” she answered moving herself closely to Cedric. “Nervous around moi. Zere iz no need to be, non?” He gently shook his head though he could name many reasons to be nervous. Fleur lightly pressed one of her fingers on his chest and gently let it fall with a sigh.

“You ‘ave…’ave a…”

“Girlfriend,” he completed for her with his own sigh. “Fleur, I didn’t ask you up here for a date of sorts. I thought you might want to talk to someone who actually knows what you’re going through.” Fleur looked up at him with a rather coy smile.

“You don’t believe zat. You did ‘ave us meet ‘ere alone.”

Fleur casually snaked an arm around Cedric’s neck and pulled her body flush against his. Her lips hovered dangerously close to his. His tongue involuntarily snuck out and wet his lips. His mind began to race at a dizzying pace.

“Fleur, we shouldn’t do this. It’s wrong.” She simply shrugged nonchalantly and placed a kiss on his lips.

It was chaste at first – small, quick pecks, and to his surprise, Cedric could not help but return the favor. The intensity soon picked up pace, and he was the one leading things along. With a moan of pleasure, she welcomed his tongue as it ventured out to map the inside of her mouth.

“Zis can be our leetle zecret,” she whispered.

“Our little secret,” he repeated gently lifting her up so she could wrap her legs around him. His mouth claimed the territory of her neck and started to move them against the walls of the tower. Fleur’s hands nimbly worked on Cedric’s trousers.

“Bloody hell, Fleur,” he groaned as he felt her slender fingers wrap around him. He fingers quickly traveled under the hem of her dress to find the waistband of her knickers. He jerked them down quickly. He wanted – no, needed – to know what it felt like to be inside her.

Cedric removed Fleur’s hand and plunged him self into her. They simultaneously let out a moan. This wasn’t the time or place to be soft, gentle, and loving. This was to be hot, quick, and utterly mind-blowing.

In those minutes, Cedric had determined there were no better sounds in the world than the ones that came from Fleur’s mouth. And his name never sounded better as it spilled from her lips as her felt body convulse as she finally crashed into her ecstasy. It was enough to push him over his own edge. He placed more kisses along her neck and lips as they just stood there not wanting to move.

Their breathing slowly started to settle, and they began to compose themselves. There were no words. There was no need for them in those few minutes. Cedric watched her as she started out towards the door.

“Wait,” he finally called out and closed the space between them once more. “You know I could help get prepared for the final task,” he added with a smile.

“’Ere?”

“Whatever place is good – empty,” he shrugged. Fleur gently giggled.

“Zure. Or we can juz talk,” she replied turning on her heel and continuing to walk towards the steps. Cedric passed her up this time and threw a quick glance over his shoulder.

“I wasn’t planning on anything but that.”
